And in those 4 and a bit months I have:
Learned an awful lot about the (awful) reality of plastics in our lives;
Changed many of mine and our household habits - clearly reducing our plastics usage by more than 1/2;
Created a full website (research + execution, using Wix.com) ; 371 visits
Translated said website in French; 112 visits
Generated leaflets, pamphlets, social media posts and infographics (a lot of fun, using Canva.com);
Created my 'Ocean Maid' persona online as well as an (over?)-active social media presence; 1,070 impressions on Twitter in October
Spent hours in the gym and walking the streets of Kenilworth with Baloo, lost 8 kilos, whilst strengthening throughout;
Been interviewed with 248 views;
Met with the mayor to start developing ideas around a plastic free community.
25 days left during which I need to
Lose another 2 kilos;
Read (and learn by heart ❤️) my 'survival at sea' RYA teaching book 😳 😨;
Get familiar with / practice my DJI;
Raise a bit more cash (maybe!) and buy some $;
Wrap up work, pack up and kiss the family bye-bye 😘
