eXXpedition round the world 2019-2021 is an all-female sailing voyage and scientific research mission. Over 38,000 nautical miles and 30 voyage legs starting and ending in the United Kingdom, eXXpedition crews will explore plastics and toxics in our ocean, via four of the five oceanic gyres and the arctic. 

Connected by a passion to protect our shared ocean, it will enable 300 women to go to sea as hands-on crew and experience first hand the challenges we face from single-use plastics, while contributing to cutting-edge scientific research and solutions-based thinking.

I have been selected to join the 4th Voyage at the end of 2019, between Antigua and Aruba, via Bonaire. I was a crew with other incredible women during the eXXpedition round the world awareness trip.

I will be sharing my voyage experiences and will be keep spreading the message about what I have witnessed on board the scientific vessel. I will supplement my discussion with footage from the sailing voyage to further highlight the effects and means of managing plastics in our oceans.
